Stop showing off!

A few months ago, I was called to be the YW Beehive advisor. Our activity this week was ice skating at the new local rink. Sometimes I get a little carried away when I try to show off. My superman slide was fun at the time, but when I got home, my knees began to throb. As you can see from the bruises, I might of actually learned my lesson.

The left knee definitely shows that I am hardcore. Ouch!!

Christmas 2009

We had a really great Christmas! We spent Christmas morning at home this year, which was nice because we didn't travel, but I think the kids were sad that they didn't get to play in the snow. It was an amazing feeling to see my four kids smiling faces when they woke up. I guess it was only two smiling faces, because we got the twins out of bed before they were ready. Brad and I definitely weren't smiling at such an early hour. I think it turned out to be a rather successful event! This picture was taken at the NICU reunion. Brad was at work, but I left a space for him next to me.

The stroller was not for Triniti..........................the twins have an obsession with strollers!

This was taken right before Kamden pulled out a little M&M guy filled with candy. He had the biggest smile on his face and exclaimed,"This is what I have always wanted!" Definitely the best reaction of the morning. If I would have known that was what he has always wanted, I would have got him some more.

The look on his face is priceless in this one, especially because he had already seen this present a week before.

Triniti kept telling me she was nervous that Santa wouldn' t bring her a Leapster. So, we decided to scare her by hiding it from her until all the presents were opened. She was quite relieved was she opened it.

By the look on his face, I don't think Braxton got what he wanted.

And Jaxon just wanted to go back to bed
(I don't blame him).

Overall, December was a lot of fun! Several family members were able to come to St. George and visit. My parents spent a good two weeks here. Also, my sister Chantelle and her family flew in from New York. I haven't seen them in almost two years, so it was a lot of fun hanging out with them and meeting my cute new nephew. On Christmas Eve we went to the in-laws for some dinner and games. My sister Dianne also made a quick trip between Christmas and New Year's. I am really looking forward to starting a new year without any more surgeries!!
